Honey Iced Tea
• 2 cups of brewed tea
• Enough ice to fill half a pitcher
• 1 lemon
• 1 orange
• Fresh mint leaves
• A few fresh strawberries or other berries
• 3-4 cloves
• 1 cinnamon stick (about 4 centimeters long)
• Honey (Add according to desired taste)
Slice the lemon in two and juice one of the halves. Thinly slice the remaining half. Wash the strawberries and slice them. Wash the orange thoroughly and dry it. Separate it into thin wedges. Transfer two cups of well-steeped tea into a pitcher or glass container full of ice. After the ice is mostly melted, add the desired amount of cold water, honey, fresh mint leaves, cloves, the cinnamon stick and sliced fruit. After letting it sit in the fridge for an hour, transfer to serving glasses, straining it if you wish. You can serve it over crushed ice.
Note: If you like, you can also add pieces of apples, strawberries, or peaches. While making cold iced tea, the drink must be cooled quickly. If the tea cools slowly, the taste becomes bitter. If you want to use green tea instead of black, put a pinch of green tea in a porcelain pot of boiling water. Wait for about five minutes, strain, and add ice.
